Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective seeks a CNA Float for home care and long term care settings. The role is full-time with Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday shifts and every other weekend, 8:00am to 4:30pm. CPR/BLS certification is required.

You will provide basic personal care under RN supervision and help maintain a clean, safe environment. We value compassionate, English-speaking caregivers with NA I certification and a nursing assistant background.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant program and familiarity with basic computer skills.
• Currently listed as NA I with NC Department of Human Services with no substantiated findings of neglect, abuse or misappropriation of resident property.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, basic personal care for patients under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Offer comfort and support to patients and caregivers, addressing emotional needs.
