Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care to residents in our skilled nursing community. You’ll support daily living activities and contribute to a safe, comfortable, homelike environment.

This part-time role offers flexible days and evenings, with alternating weekends, starting pay of $17-$18 per hour plus a $3/hour shift differential. Join a team that values respect, integrity, and growth while making a meaningful difference

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with transfers, lifting, repositioning, and mobility as needed.
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition and care provided.
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents.
• Report accidents, incidents, or concerns involving residents, staff, or visitors.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of required safety equipment.
