Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification required with state board or in process of obtaining.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with daily living activities (bathing, toileting, grooming, feeding) and records vital signs.
• Aids in transferring, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques and equipment.
• Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Assists with meals and hydration; provides water and supplements as appropriate.
• Supports nursing staff and providers with procedures when needed.
• Documents resident interactions and communicates changes to the charge nurse.
