Shrewsbury Rehabilitation and Nursing at Southgate is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care, support daily living activities, and ensure residents' comfort in a long-term care setting. The role requires a current CNA certification, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift and transfer residents; CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with feeding, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
• Perform vital signs and record resident data accurately.
• Assist with ADLs, including mobility, transfer, and positioning.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and respect resident's rights.
• Report changes in resident condition to Charge Nurse and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in resident care conferences and other facility meetings as assigned.
• Follow facility policies and procedures, and participate in ongoing education and training.
