Job summary
Allpro Homecare is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Rhode Island, dedicated to delivering quality non-medical homecare for veterans. The role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and online training to support caregivers in providing compassionate client care.
Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, mobility, meal preparation, and maintaining client safety per the service plan.
Qualifications
- Current state license in good standing as a CNA.
- At least 1 year caregiver experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare setting.
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass Rhode Island background check.
- State-required immunizations.
- State-required birth certification upload.
Responsibilities
- Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming.
- Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet.
- Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair.
- Performs housekeeping duties.
- Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
- Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
- Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan.
