Allpro Homecare is seeking an Experienced CNA to join our team and support our mission of providing quality non-medical homecare to veterans.

We offer a flexible schedule with weekly pay, support staff, and online training to help you succeed in a compassionate homecare role. Duties include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meal preparation, and reporting to the administrator. Applicants must have a valid CNA license and be able to pass a state background check.

Qualifications

Current state license in good standing as a CNA.
1 year caregiver experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare agency setting.
Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to pass a Rhode Island's National background check.
State-required Flu Shot (annually thereafter).
State-required Hepatitis B Shot.
State-required Immunization Record (Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, COVID).
State-required Birth Certification upload.
Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client).
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming.
Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet.
Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair.
Performs housekeeping duties.
Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan.
