Job summary

Jasper Memorial Hospital in Monticello, GA, is seeking a Retreat Certified Nurse Aide (Casual, PRN) to join our caregiving team. The role requires delivering quality resident care and accurate documentation across daily logs and care plans.

You will assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, and monitoring vital signs, while maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents. High school diploma/ GED and state CNA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED. Must be state certified and be on the state registry.
• Experience: At least one year of C.N.A./P.C.T. experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review Activity of Daily Living sheets at the beginning of each shift to ensure the plan of care is followed for each resident.
• Document changes on ADL sheets and note changes to the charge nurse.
• Record dietary data, baths, logs, BP sheets, and ADL entries as required.
• Report bowel movements and intake/output to the charge nurse at end of shift.
• Assist with admissions and inventory of residents’ personal belongings.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist with meals and personal care.
• Maintain cleanliness and grooming; assist with toileting, bathing, and transfer activities.
• Obtain vital signs as instructed.
