Job summary

Birmingham Green in Manassas, VA is seeking a caring Full-Time CNA to join our resident-centered care team. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and help residents feel safe and valued in a welcoming environment.

Role requires active Virginia CNA license, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication. You will collaborate with nurses and therapists to maintain quality care and support our mission of compassionate senior living.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA license.
• Completed CNA training with at least six months of experience in long-term care.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer, math and problem-solving skills.
• Punctual and able to work the full established schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Taking and recording vital signs and measuring intake and output.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary team members.
• Documenting resident care and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Assisting with ambulation and transporting residents.
• Serving trays and assisting with eating to ensure proper nutrition.
• Changing bed linens to provide a clean and comfortable environment.
• Maintaining a restraint-free environment and supporting fall prevention.
• Participating in surveys, in-service classes and staff meetings.
• Completing appropriate forms, reports, evaluations and studies.
• Providing compassionate post-mortem care as needed.
