Job summary

Green Hills Health Care Center in Ames, IA is seeking a compassionate CNA/Driver for full-time day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM). You will provide resident care under RN/LPN supervision, document care, and assist with ADLs and meals while maintaining safety and dignity.

Requirements include CNA licensure, Class D driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Join a team focused on hospitality-driven care and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA licensure and be registered with the appropriate registry.
• Must maintain valid Direct Care Worker Registry status.
• Must have a valid Class D chauffeur's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document nursing care after assisting a resident.
• Timely report changes in resident condition to RN/LPN on duty.
• Perform and chart ADLs according to each resident’s care plan.
• Assist residents with nutrition and hydration and dining.
• Ensure resident rooms are clean and organized.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safety procedures.
