Job summary

MedStar Health in Baltimore is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to function as a member of the patient-centered care team. Under RN supervision, you will provide direct patient care for assigned patients and their families, assist with procedures, ADLs, specimen collection, EKGs, and document in the health record.

The role supports smooth operations across units, helps with patient mobility, vital signs, I&O, and safe transports.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with current state certification.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nursing assistant certification program completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene.
• Assist with procedures and tests under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform EKGs; document findings in health record.
• Maintain patient privacy, comfort, and safety; report changes to RN.
• Support patient transport, rounds, and room turnover as needed.
