Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 – 3 years’ current nursing assistant experience preferred; acute setting may substitute long-term experience.
• Certification as a Nurse Assistant in Oregon required and in good standing.
• CPR or BLS certification current.
• Valid Oregon Food Handler Card required.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident care as assigned, including grooming, nutrition, hydration, sleep, hygiene, continence, and pain monitoring.
• Aids in maximizing residents' independence and mobility; assists with dressing, bathing, grooming, and transfers; ensures person-centered care.
• Keeps public areas and resident rooms clean; maintains orderly closets and drawers.
