Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, part of Empath Health, seeks a caring CNA/Dietary Aide in Sarasota, FL to support nutrition and patient comfort in our hospice houses. You will assist with meal preparation, service, and dietary customization under supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining a sanitary kitchen, delivering meals, and providing CNA care as needed under the direction of the Registered Nurse and Dietitian. Prior hospice or acute-care experience is preferred, bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license with minimum 75 education hours of theory and clinical training.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of hospice, home health, or acute-care experience preferred.
• Experience in dietary services is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform food purchasing, storage, meal preparation and delivery in a sanitary kitchen.
• Meet dietary goals and preferences of terminal patients in hospice.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director, Registered Dietitian, and Food Service Coordinator to prepare meals.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with CNA clinical duties as required.
