Job summary

Innova Recovery Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support the daily medication administration program at a designated treatment location. You will assist with medication management, monitor client health, document in the EMR, and provide nursing support as needed.

You may temporarily assist at other Innova Recovery Center locations and will perform Direct Care Technician duties after medication responsibilities are complete.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification in the State of Texas.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience as CNA preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily medication administration program at assigned location.
• Administer medications under licensed nurse direction.
• Maintain MARs and medical documentation.
• Receive, inventory, and secure client medications.
• Record vital signs and clinical observations.
• Coordinate psychiatric and medical appointments.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and education.
• Provide DCT responsibilities and client supervision as needed.
