Job summary

Kirkwood Wellness & Rehabilitation on South Kirkwood Road in Kirkwood, MO is hiring CNAs for full-time or part-time shifts (days, evenings, nights). Under new ownership, the team focuses on compassionate care, resident dignity, and growth opportunities within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, vital signs, mobility, and documentation, while adhering to care plans and infection control procedures. We welcome experienced CNAs and career entrants alike.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri CNA certification in good standing.
• Completed State‑Approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long‑term care, hospital, assisted living, or healthcare is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident‑focused.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read, write, and accurately document resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, resident-centered care in accordance with individualized care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and use of assistive devices
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse
• Assist with feeding and hydration while encouraging resident independence
• Answer resident call lights promptly and courteously
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms
• Change bed linens and assist with housekeeping tasks related to resident care
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Follow infection prevention and infection control procedures
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, and quality of life at all times

Position Summary
