Job summary

Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our night shift team. You will provide hands-on, resident-centered care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, helping residents with daily living activities and promoting dignity, safety, and comfort.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri CNA certification in good standing.
• Successful completion of a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, hospital, or memory care is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional resident-centered care in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and personal care.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and use of mobility equipment.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition promptly.
• Answer call lights quickly and provide compassionate assistance.
• Assist with meals, hydration and feeding as needed.
• Maintain clean, comfortable resident rooms and change bed linens as necessary.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or behavioral changes to the licensed nurse.
• Document resident care accurately and completely.
• Follow infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and the care team.
• Promote resident dignity, respect, and quality of life.

Position Summary
