Emerald Healthcare in Pikeville, KY is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
This full-time day-shift role (7a–7p) operates in a clinical healthcare environment. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, vital signs, documentation in electronic health records, and work closely with nurses and physicians to deliver
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Kentucky required.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene).
- Support mobility with transferring, positioning, and ambulation as directed.
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Document care provided and changes in residents’ conditions in electronic health records.
- Communicate changes or concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
- Assist with feeding, meal prep, and provide companionship.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
