Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (PRN) to join our Prestonsburg facility on a day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You will provide direct resident care, support ADLs, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-focused environment while following facility policies and the resident’s plan of care.

Pay rates are based on years of licensed experience and you’ll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package designed to support health, wealth, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have integrity working with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADLs within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and resident plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Routinely turn and position residents and support resident rights.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned duty areas.
• Respond to call lights and assist residents as needed.
• Assist in orientation and training of staff.
