Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant for Prestonsburg Health Care Center. You will provide direct resident care under licensed staff, assist with ADLs and mobility, and help maintain a compassionate, safe environment for residents.

We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus, day shift 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), tuition assistance, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently with integrity and good stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Routinely turn and position residents and maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
