Adventist Home Health and Hospice in Austin is seeking a PRN Home Health Aide to join our team. This per-visit role lets you choose visits while delivering one-on-one care in patients' homes.

You will follow individualized care plans, provide hands-on personal care, and build relationships with patients. Prior home health or hospice experience is a plus, with a focus on safety and organization.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of prior professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, bathing, and transferring to wheelchairs or vehicles.
• Provide personal care, change bed linens, do light laundry, and help maintain a clean home environment.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care, condition, progress, or concerns and report observations to your supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients through conversation, reading aloud, or light activities to support mental engagement and wellbeing.
• Assist patients with light exercises or activities as outlined in the care plan.
• Accept PRN visits based on your own availability.
