Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide daily supportive care to residents in a community setting. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on resident-directed care and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meal support, and documenting care. The role emphasizes preserving dignity and fostering relationships with residents and their families.

Qualifications

• CNA certification valid for MO or IL.
• Enrollment in PA registry allowed within 120 days of program completion.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort and provides ADL care as directed by scope of practice.
• Responds to call lights and requests; reports observations to nursing staff.
• Assists with personal care and preserves residents’ dignity and independence.
• Observes changes in residents and communicates with the nurse.
• Participates in care/service plans to improve residents’ lives.
• Assists during mealtimes and feeds those needing full assistance.
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Supports involvement in daily activities and assists with activities.
• Assists therapies and treatments under licensed staff direction.
• Documents care in clinical records and maintains a clean, safe environment.
