Signature HealthCARE Norfolk is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to perform direct resident care under licensed nursing supervision. You will support ADLs, monitor vitals, and assist with transfers and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents.
• Provide activities of daily living within the resident’s plan of care.
• Record vitals, weights, intake/output, and other information as assigned.
• Turn and position residents, and assist with transfers as needed.
• Support resident rights and maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
