Job summary

Meadville Medical Center in Meadville, PA is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for the TC/U Rehab unit for full-time day/evening shifts. You will provide resident care under supervision of a Professional Nurse or LPN, and assist with restorative procedures.

You will obtain vital signs, weight, and other samples, follow infection control practices, and participate in staff orientation and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current state certification as a nursing assistant.
• BLS certification required.
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice.

Responsibilities

• Gives resident care under the supervision of Professional Nurse and/or LPN.
• Assist with restorative nursing procedures and transfers.
• Obtain vital signs, weight, height, intake, output and specimens.
• Obtain/perform EKGs as ordered.
• Follow policies and procedures of the hospital and TC/U.
