St. Paul’s Senior Services invites applications for a full-time CNA at the PACE Day Center in California. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, under supervision of the Day Center Supervisor, assisting participants with activities of daily living and supportive care.

The role requires a CA CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR/BLS with First Aid. Prior experience with frail or elderly populations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification in California required.
• Current CPR and First Aid from the American Heart Association required.

Responsabilités

• Provide and assist St. Paul’s PACE participants with activities of daily living, restorative and supportive care.
• Assist with organization and implementation of the activity program.
• Monitor health status and maintain a safe environment for participants.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Day Center Supervisor , responsible for providing and assisting participants of St. Paul’s PACE with activities of daily living, restorative and supportive care. Assists with organization and implementation of activity program. Monitors health status and provides a safe environment for participants.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant in the State of California (CNA) required.
• Experience:A minimum of one year’s of experience in working with the frail or elderly population required. Shall have either training or related experience in the job assigned.
• Current CPR (BLS) and First Aid from the American Heart Association is required.
