Job summary

Vered Healthcare Group in Dania Beach, FL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join Westlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. You will support residents with ADLs, monitor health, document vital signs, and work closely with nurses and therapists to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires a Florida CNA license, HS diploma, at least one year of long-term care experience, strong communication, reliability, and basic EMR skills. CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA license in Florida required.
• High school diploma or equivalent mandatory.
• At least 1 year of CNA experience in long-term care.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles for geriatric care.
• Empathetic and compassionate with residents.
• Strong communication with residents and team.
• Reliable and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to follow protocol and safety guidelines.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
• Take and record vital signs (temp, pulse, resp, BP).
• Assist with meals and monitor dietary intake.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of residents' rooms.
• Assist with individualized care plans per protocols.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at Westlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Dania Beach, Florida. Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, while promoting independence and preserving dignity.
• Observe and report any changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the nursing staff, ensuring prompt attention to their needs.
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, in accordance with facility protocols.
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal planning, feeding, and monitoring dietary intake as directed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and procedures, with a focus on geriatric care.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to provide personalized care and emotional support to residents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow instructions, protocols, and safety guidelines accurately.
