Job summary

Village Place Health and Rehab is seeking dependable, positive CNAs to join our team in a remodeled 104-bed skilled nursing facility. You will interact with patients, monitor vital signs, and assist with daily living needs, serving as a vital link between patients and nurses.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, hygiene, vital signs, and collaborating with the care team. Evening shifts, 8-hour days, and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training course.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Good communication skills, including empathy (bedside manner).

• Assist with daily living activities such as delivering meals, turning, ambulating, and providing water.
• Help patients with personal hygiene including bedpans, baths, shampoos, and showers.
• Provide adjunct care such as ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check vital signs and record information in patient charts.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely.
• Maintain composure under pressure and in critical situations.

Village Place Health and Rehab is looking for dependable, positive, and experienced CNAs to join our team in our beautifully remodeled, 104 bed skilled nursing facility.

We are looking for a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to become a part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will interact directly with patients, providing comfort, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other team members.

CNA Responsibilities

• CNAs assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning, and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals
• Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos, and showers
• Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths
• Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
• Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
• Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head

CNA Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training course
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
