Job summary

Vered Healthcare Group is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join Westlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dania Beach, FL. You will provide direct resident care, support daily activities, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of CNA experience in long-term care or nursing home.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles, geriatric care focus.
• Compassionate and empathetic with residents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow protocols and safety guidelines.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility) promoting independence and dignity.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Take and record vital signs per facility protocols.
• Support residents' nutritional needs with meal planning, feeding, and monitoring intake.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of residents' rooms for safety and comfort.
• Assist in implementing individualized care plans per protocols.
• Foster relationships with residents and families, providing emotional support.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and social workers for holistic care.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
