Job summary

Westminster Assisted Living & Memory Care of Cullman is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care and support the nursing team in maintaining residents' health and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a state-approved CNA training program, and at least 1 year of related experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of nursing care procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance: assist residents with ADLs and mobility.
• Health Monitoring: measure vitals and monitor changes in condition.
• Resident Engagement: build meaningful relationships and promote activity participation.
• Safety & Compliance: maintain a safe environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Emergency Response: assist in emergencies as needed.
