Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services in Northbrook, IL is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate direct care to residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care.

You will report to the nurse manager, assist with daily activities, housekeeping, dining services, and help maintain residents' dignity and independence. High school diploma and completion of an approved CNA program required; state registry must list you.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state.
• Listed on the state's Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager and may take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assists residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment.
• Bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, and mobility assistance as needed.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, including linen changes and tidying spaces.
• Assist with resident laundry and notify supervisor of clothing needs.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.
