Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Stillwater, OK is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic resident care and assist with daily living activities. You will support personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and social activities while collaborating with the nursing team.

Ideal candidates have long-term care or assisted living experience, current CNA certification, CPR/First Aid, and a team-oriented mindset. Weekend/holiday shifts are required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant dependent upon state regulations
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals and social activities.
• Collaborate with the nursing department and other staff to support resident well-being.
• Contribute to the attainment and maintenance of residents’ physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.
