Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities. The CNA helps with hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals, and social activities within the community.

The CNA collaborates with the nursing team and other staff to support residents’ physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being, ensuring compassionate, respectful care.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant depending on state regulations.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry and meals.
• Collaborate with the nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, residents and families to support residents’ well-being.
