Job summary

The Berkeley is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents, assist with ADLs, and support the nursing team in maintaining health and well-being. We value compassionate, patient caregivers who can work well independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

A state CNA cert and a background check are required, including CPR/First Aid preferred; lifting up to 50 lbs may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Measure and record vital signs, observe changes, and report to the nursing team.
• Foster meaningful relationships with residents and encourage participation in activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols.
