Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide caring and personalized assistance for residents in our community. This role supports daily living activities and works under the nursing team.

Responsibilities include reviewing care plans, assisting with bathing, dressing, meals, and vital signs, with documentation in CareTracker. The position requires varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous healthcare/geriatrics or elderly care experience preferred.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.

Responsibilities

• Leads and provide 1440 care.
• Review Resident Care Plans at start of shift.
• Bathe and clean, as needed, residents by bed bath, shower and/or whirlpool.
• Assist in grooming (teeth, hair, nails, makeup, shaving) for residents.
• Assist residents with dressing, ensuring appropriate clothing.
• Make beds, change linens, tidy rooms.
• Assist with meals and set up trays for those needing help.
• Answer calls promptly; keep lights within reach.
• Assist with bedpan, urinal, and bedside commode as needed; change briefs every 2 hours.
• Record vital signs (temp, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report abnormalities.
• Collect urine samples; assist with specimens.
• Provide water and transport supplies; assist with transfers as directed.
• Maintain dignity and privacy; follow Resident Bill of Rights.
• Follow safety devices and infection control procedures.
