Job summary

Covenant Living in Chicago is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily direct care to residents in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings. You will work under the nurse manager and assist with daily activities, meal service and basic personal care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Position also assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Prepare residents for meals, assist with serving meals and feeding of residents.
• Notify supervisor of changes in resident condition and needs.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.
