Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of a 10th grade education.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before delivering care using wristband or photo card.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident health information and report suspected disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily functions and meals.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and examinations.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood and body fluids.
