Job summary
La Mesa Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for the AM shift. You will provide routine daily nursing care and assist residents according to care plans, under supervision.
Responsibilities include documenting care, reporting changes promptly, assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment in a long-term care setting. CPR preferred.
Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
- Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws. CPR Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned residents.
- Identify residents, administer treatments, and assist with meals as directed.
- Report changes in condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
- Record entries on flow sheets and charts accurately.
- Maintain resident privacy and protect health information.
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
- Prepare rooms and escort residents as needed.
- Observe for skin issues and report concerns promptly.
- Follow facility policies and safety procedures.
