Job summary

Hillsboro Post Acute in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient-centered rehabilitation and daily living activities. Under supervision, you will assist residents with dressing, feeding, mobility, and routine care, while maintaining dignity and safety.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid CNA license in Oregon; CPR certification is preferred. Experience in long-term care is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in state of employment.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with eating.
• Assists residents with range of motion, wheelchair transfer, and movement.
• Turns and positions residents in bed and assists with ambulation.
• Records vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Documents ADLs and device use on flow sheets per policy.
• Participates in interdisciplinary care planning meetings.
