Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team. You will assist patients with daily living activities, provide basic nursing care under the direction of the bedside RN, and support a safe, clean environment on your unit.

You will document care, monitor vital signs, help with meals and hygiene, and communicate changes to the RN. We value compassionate, patient-centered care and teamwork in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of CNA program and current CNA certification.
• BLS certification is required or current.
• Strong communication and patient care skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Ensure timely meals and basic nursing care for patients.
• Complete daily documentation (ADLs, ambulation, meals) per policy.
• Gather intake/output data and communicate with bedside RN.
• Attend to hygiene and basic care per patient age needs.
• Monitor vitals and report changes to the RN; ensure fall risk safety.
