Job summary

Summit Ridge Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Douglas, Wyoming is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant. The position is non-exempt and hourly, with an expected duty to support nursing staff and assist residents with daily living activities in accordance with care plans.

The role requires a valid CNA in good standing, CPR/BLS, and a high school diploma. Prior SNF/ALF experience is preferred but not required. The facility offers a structured environment and opportunities for teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit (when applicable).
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience in a SNF or ALF is preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nursing staff and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living according to care plans.
• Assists with lifting, turning, and positioning residents.
• Coordinates dining room services during meals and documents intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and tracks weight changes as directed.
• Documents progress and communicates changes to the nurse.
