Qualifications

• Must be Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or enrolled in an accredited nursing program with at least one clinical semester completed.
• Current Basic Life Support certification at time of hire (American Heart Association).
• Approved workplace violence responder training within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
• Must have patient care experience and the ability to communicate effectively in a therapeutic manner.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays and maintain professional relationships across the health system.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and assist with patient hygiene and elimination tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe unit environment and stock supplies.
• Operate hospital equipment as directed and perform routine clerical duties.
• Assist with other related duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
