Trinity Health Senior Communities is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and mobility in a full-time role in Michigan. You will assist with admissions, transfers and discharges, and perform restorative exercises while documenting progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current, unencumbered Nursing Assistant certification in this state.
• Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Superior customer service skills and professionalism; outstanding verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care, shaving) per preference.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge process for residents.
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents using equipment.
• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures; provide daily Range of Motion exercises and record data.
• Follow safety precautions and use PPE; wear safety equipment when lifting/moving residents.
