Job summary

Responsibilities

• Providing great patient care.
• Answering patient calls and determining how best to help them.
• Providing physical support for activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Turning and repositioning bedridden patients.
• Reviewing dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to ensure appropriate meals.
• Obtaining information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions.
• Measuring and recording intake and output and reporting changes.
• Recording vital signs as requested.
• Examining patients for issues requiring medical care.
• Reminding patients to take medications and supplements.
• Noting observations of patient behavior to nurses.
• Staying up to date on CNA training and facility policy.
