Job summary

Highlands at Owasso is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for a full-time role in Broken Arrow, OK. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health status, and report changes to nursing staff to support the care team.

Responsibilities include mobility assistance, infection control, meal assistance, and collaboration with nurses to implement individualized care plans. Prior experience in senior care and EHR familiarity are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification recognized by the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and safety procedures.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Monitor and document residents’ health conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff.
• Provide mobility assistance and help residents move safely within the facility.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols.
• Offer companionship and promote social engagement with residents.
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
• Assist with meal preparation and serving, respecting dietary needs.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain certification and skills.
