Eventide Hospice is seeking a Hospice Home Health Aide (CNA) to work 8a-5p across York, NE and Crete, with weekend and holiday rotations. The role delivers personal care, emotional support, and daily living assistance to seniors in home or facility settings.

Ideal candidates hold a Nebraska CNA license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license; at least 6 months caregiving experience is preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• CNA/certification required and in good standing (Nebraska State Registry).
• CPR certification required.
• Valid Nebraska Driver’s license and good driving record.
• Vaccination requirements per Eventide policy.
• Medication Aide training/competency testing prior to client care.

Responsabilités

• Perform personal care in clients' homes or facilities per plan of care.
• Identify teaching needs to provide to the nurse.
• Monitor equipment usage as per plan of care.
• Provide emotional support to client and family.
• Observe and report changes to nurse or supervisor.
• Document care, observations, and communications in the clinical record.
• Adhere to client's Bill of Rights and policies.
• Travel between clients’ homes as assigned.
• Assist with mobility and use of equipment as needed.
