Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is immediately seeking a CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate in-home care for our clients. As a valued member of our home care team, you will assist with daily living activities and support independence in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year work experience
• Current HHA Certificate (with in person clinical training) or
• Certificate of at least 75 hours of CNA training or
• Current CNA license in good standing with the board

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance

Education

One year of work experience

HHA certificate with in-person training

CNA training 75+ hours
