Job summary

The Californian-Pasadena is a 63-bed skilled nursing facility committed to exceptional care in a welcoming home-like setting. We seek a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate team, providing resident care with respect and professionalism.

Responsibilities include following Nursing Standards and Title 22/OBRA, reporting to the Charge Nurse, and maintaining CPR certification. Benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation, sick leave, and a consistent schedule.

Qualifications

• Certified by the State of California as a CNA and maintains current certification.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and write information in English.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Has the desire to care for elderly and chronically ill residents.

Responsibilities

• Report to the assigned station and charge nurse daily.
• Perform tasks within CNA scope and provide resident care safely and efficiently.
• Follow facility rules and regulations and communicate changes promptly.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain positive interactions with residents and staff.
• Maintain CPR certification and update resident care plans as needed.
• Complete any other duties assigned by supervisors.
