Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Required valid CNA certification in Oklahoma.
• Six months of long-term care experience preferred.
• Maintain a working email and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, hygiene, bathing, and incontinence care.
• Assist with feeding and range of motion exercises.
• Provide personal care and comfort.
• Assist residents with ambulation and movement to wheelchair areas.
• Record vital signs as directed.
• Communicate changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team.
