Job summary

Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Portland, Indiana is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants to join our team of caregivers providing basic nursing tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities include observing residents, assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and reporting changes. Must be CNA or in approved training; ability to stand, lift and be patient and reliable.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or in an approved training program to become a CNA.
• Ability to observe and report changes in residents' health status.
• Must be able to stand, bend and lift for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report any changes in residents’ health status to the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (i.e., bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care).
• Follow instructions and complete records under supervision.
