Job summary

Highlands Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Pennsylvania is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care to residents, supporting their physical, mental and emotional well-being. The role requires compassionate, reliable individuals able to work in a busy skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, documenting vital signs and meals, observing infection control, and maintaining resident safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA Course.
• Valid PA CNA Certification.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to provide proof of prior CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic nursing tasks.
• Document vital signs and meals intake.
• Assist with restorative nursing duties.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Observe safety policies and infection control.
• Ambulate and transfer residents.
• Maintain resident confidentiality.
• Complete daily care plans and records.
• Respond to emergencies calmly.
