Job summary

Apple Rehab Watertown in Watertown, CT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, bathing, grooming and mobility. Must hold CNA certification; per diem with weekend coverage encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• Strong reading, writing and following instructions.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with daily bathing, grooming and mobility.
• Performs perineal care, bed-making, turning and monitoring vital signs.
• Records necessary charting and reports changes to supervisor.
• Responds to call lights and emergencies promptly and calmly.
