Job summary

Navion Senior Living is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate daily living support in Forest Ridge, a dedicated community in West Jefferson, NC. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health parameters, and maintain patient comfort under supervision.

Requirements include a CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication. Training on HIPAA, infection control, and teamwork is emphasized to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to think and work independently with team guidance.
• Strong oral communication with health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive relationship with residents, family, and staff.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Assist with personal hygiene and bathing.
• Provide adjunct patient care as needed (ice packs, dressings, baths).
• Monitor and record food intake and bodily outputs; share with medical staff.
• Coordinate with physicians, caregivers, and nurses.
• Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
• Report safety violations and emergencies promptly.
